As My Tears Turn Red

I was awakened by a commotion downstairs.

Sitting up I saw the French doors in the front of the room were bolted shut and a dresser was moved in front of them.

I stood up off the bed still wearing my outfit from Blaize's and walk through a small side door.

A bathroom.

I rinsed my face with cold water then walked out.

The dresser was moved and the door no longer bolted.

I froze.

“Lil, you there?” It came from behind, what I assumed to be, the closet door.

“Kay?”

Kay ran out the door and hugged me.

I stood in shock for a minute, but then hugged back.

“How did you get up here?”

“I snuck in with all the commotion of the werewolves fighting the vampires.” He pulled out of the hug, “Let's get out of here”

He grabbed my hand and led me quietly out the door.

We walked down the stairs and started creeping past the fighters, but a blond wolf saw me and howled, I assumed it was Dan.

Kay stepped in front of me and gave me a push towards the front door.

I ran for it, but Drake jumped in front of me, fangs extended.

I took a few hesitant steps back, bumping into something.

I turned slightly still able to see Drake, behind me was Amon.

“Oh thank god it's you Amon”

“Yea don't worry I can take him, just go”

“but-”

“Go!”

I dashed a round and towards the door again only to get trampled by Dakota.

He picked me up.

“I thought I trapped you in your room”

“Uh...you did...but someone let me out”

“Ugh it doesn't matter” He put me down and held me with a knife to my throat.

“Dakota...what...are...you...doing?”

“Relax it's nothing personal, it's just going to stop the fight. Scream”

“What? No”

“Everyone in hear is fighting for you, scream.”

“No”

“Ugh, everything the hard way” He yanked back my hair and I screamed in surprise.
