Give Me A Reason To Believe

Pain Never Ends.

Baylie's P.O.V.

The breath was taken from my lungs.

"Gerard." Mikey whispered, adn the words stung.

Gerard was still inside, taking on pain.

"Aw, shit!" yelled Ray.

Bob's eyes grew wide, and Frankie shot back into the air.
Fear and anger was taking over him.
I was still standing there. Shocked.

Suddenly, somehow all at the same time, the 5 of us took off towards the blurring building. The rain was trying to stop us, but we wouldn't let it. We couldn't

I felt as if I was floating as I ran uo the steps and through the door. I didn't have to be told where he was.
My feet took me there. I could feel him.

My head was screaming. My heart was screaming. I turned the corner, and there he was. Gerard.

Spots of blood were surrouding him. He wasn't fighting back. I screamed.

"Stop God damnit, please stop!"

The massive muscular body turned to me. My heart stopped again.
I heard Gerard whisper my name.

Frankie ran up from behind and jumped onto the guys' back.
"Hi-ya! Baylie, just get Gee!"

Ray and Bob turned to Frankie, trying to pry him off the guy.

Mikey turned to me. "Come on, we gotta get him up."

I looked down at Gerard. He gave me a weak smile.
"Are you--"

"I'm fine." He answered, as I smiled back at his torn face.

He tried to stand, but fell back against the lockers. I grabbed his arm and put it around my shoulder. He stood up.

"Thanks." He smiled again.

We look over towards Frankie just in time to hear him yell, "Yeah, you keep running!" Only to have the guy turn around, and glare, making Frankie yelp and jump behind Ray.

The guy turned and walked away mumbling under his breath, and Mikey's eyes began to fill with tears.
"Come on..let's leave before he comes back." He said.

I looked down at Gerard. "Are you okay?"

"Baylie, I'm fine. I promise."
