Give Me A Reason To Believe
SCREAM. STOP. SLEEP.
Gerard's P.O.V.
I became numb.
The pounding against my face and body matched up with the sound of the thunder surrounding me.
I felt all the blood running down the side of my face.
I stopped hearing.
Feeling altogether.
It wouldn't help to scream.
I wouldn't be able to hear myself if I tried.
I was numb.
I had no feeling of the marks being imprinted onto my body.
I was weak.
I was focused on remembering those green eyes.
The lightning flashed again.
Rain.
I opened my eyes.
I didn't hear the voices.
And I still didn't feel the bruising parts of my body.
The pain.
It wasn't there.
But it was.
It had to be.
Suddenly, I felt.
I felt the fists crunching against my body.
I heard.
I heard the yells.
They were saying stop.
Please, please stop.
And then I saw.
I saw the green eyes.
I was safe.
Black.
I became numb.
The pounding against my face and body matched up with the sound of the thunder surrounding me.
I felt all the blood running down the side of my face.
I stopped hearing.
Feeling altogether.
It wouldn't help to scream.
