Past- She was a successful guitarist until something happened that practically destroyed her left arm; rendering her unable to play for 17 months. After her arm healed she was too scared to play again. When Jaden attempts to play, her sub-conscious forcibly makes her relive the pain of the accident. The same pain occurs when Jaden hears music similar to her own. Music is, almost literally, Jaden’s life, so without being able to play or listen to music she is slowly killing herself.
