Chapter 10-The Light Eater
The gaurds pushed Aley into a room, pitch black, and shut the door. Aley's crest shone, giving off light so Aley could see in the dark room. "How'd I get into this mess..."
He looked up to see two large, red eyes that were looking down at him. Aley swallowed hard, "Hello. I come in peace," he quietly said, taking a few steps backwards.
The red eyes followed Aley, and moved closer as the body wrapped around Aley's body. Aley swallowed his spit, as his crest stopped glowing. Aley shut his eyes and tried to remember good thoughts.
"Jacob! Jacob!" Aley quietly yelled, shaking his brother, "Jacob!"
"What, Aley?" Jacob mumbled. It was might and Jacob and Aley were six years old.
"I'm afraid again, and mom and dad won't let me sleep with them," Aley answered, kind of crying, "can I sleep with you?"
"Sure," Jacob sighed, and pushed over so Aley could sleep with him. They both passed out.
The monster licked Aley's face, squeezed tighter, and disappeared as the door opened.
