Paty’s P.O.V

The next day

I woke up and I was preparing myself to dye my hair blonde. I loved my brown hair but the production asked me to dye it. Jared and the guys were excited to see me blonde but I wasn’t sure I wanted to do it.

“Jared.” I said shaking Jared’s shoulder lightly making him turn to me and hug me protectively.

“I know. I’ll help.” Jared said standing up and taking me to the bathroom with him.

Sense Jared had dyed his hair a lot of times before he offered to dye mine and he was excited about it. I sat on the toilet and I closed me eyes hoping this would end soon.

“Sweet cheeks you are only dying your hair. Don’t worry you’ll still be the most beautiful woman in my life.” Jared said kissing me sweetly and then starting to dye my hair carefully.

About one hour alter, Jared was smiling proudly. I stood up and I looked myself in the mirror. I was totally different thank god this was temporary.

“You look so beautiful.” Jared said hugging me from behind making my smile grow.

Two days later

I was packing, I needed to be in L.A in 2 hours.

“Does she really have to?” I heard Lilly ask from the living room.

“She has, but she will be with us soon.” Shannon said.

I finished my last bag already crying, but trying to hold it at least until I saw his icy blue eyes for the last time.

“I’m ready.” I said grabbing my bag, with some Italian souvenirs and looking at the people in front of me.

Tomo was reading a book on the couch, Shannon was talking to Lilly and Jared was writing, probably sad lyrics.

“The cab is already outside.” Tomo said standing up and hugging me tightly

I hugged him, then I hugged Shannon and we promised each other to look after ourselves and others and then I hugged Lilly.

“J…” I said sitting on Jared’s lap while he placed his hands on my waist and his head on my shoulder

“I have to go.” I said quickly kissing him passionately and leaving without looking back because if I looked back the power in his eyes would make me stay.

I entered the cab already sobbing while the driver silently drove us to the airport. I did my check in and I waited when I felt a tap on my shoulder

“You forgot something.” Jared said smiling and pushing me against him kissing me like if I was going to leave forever

“It’s time.” Jared said resting his forehead in mine while caressing my left cheek

“I know. I love you.” I said smiling and kissing him sweetly and then running to the plain.

Hours later L.A

I entered a building where the director would be to talk to me and other cast members.

“You’ll be playing Amanda Seyfried. She’s Donna’s only daughter and she is going to marry Sky but there’s one thing that she wants to know, who her father is.” Phyllida explained

“Well Patrícia we love your face, your hair looks just perfect.” Phyllida said

After leaving the room with the lines and the dates to record the songs I finally meet Meryl Streep.

“Hello there youngster.” Meryl said smiling at me

“Hi, it’s so nice to meet you finally. You’re like an idol to me.” I said blushing

Two months later, Greece

“Paty! Come on try to seem more convincing! He’s your future husband for god sake.” Phyllida laughed

We were shooting a scene in the beach, the scene before the wedding in which Sky and Amanda declare their love to each other before the day of their wedding.

“I just want to hug her, Phyllida, she’s so damn cute!” Dominic said, making me laugh

After shooting the scene, that included vocal, I had to get prepared for a scene at night but during the day I had another scene with Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth and Stellan Skarsgârd.

“Paty! 3 hours break!” Dominic yelled happily, I smiled

“Let’s swim!” I said dancing like crazy and then taking my floral dress revealing my swimsuit, red on the top and black on the bottom.

I dived towards the water and I immediately started playing around with Dominic

“Paty! Come here!” Pierce said

“Why? What did I do this time?” I said playfully but Pierce’s face wouldn’t change.

I got out of the water and Pierce threw me a towel. I rapped my body around it and I ran with Pierce. The crew had a little studio set to keep the cameras and such at night, when I entered everyone stared at me

“Pierce are you insane?!” Meryl said covering the TV screen before I had time to figure out what they were watching

“She deserves to know Meryl! It’s not fair to move it away from her.” Pierce said

“Meryl, Pierce why are you fighting with each other?” I said confused

“Dear you have to be calm.” Meryl said glaring at Pierce and grabbing my hand.

I pushed people away and what I saw on the TV made me stop.

“Our sources on the field confirm that Hollywood actor Jared Leto is trapped inside the building. 3 hours ago a 20 store building fell in N.Y and the there is no news yet about survivors.” The reporter said

I felt my lungs contract, I wasn’t breathing. I was crying

“NO!” I yelled with angry tears coming from my eyes

“This can’t be happening! NOT NOW!” I said loosing the strength on my legs and falling to the ground.

“No Pierce. Tell me it’s not truth Meryl, please TELL ME!” I said sobbing uncontrollably.

“Please dear you have to be calm.” Meryl said also starting to cry at my suffering

“I can’t. I have to…. I have to go there.” I said trying to get up

I started running not seeing where I was going when I bumped into someone

“Paty…” The voice said

“So it is true” I said holding on to him so tightly but I didn’t care. I felt empty.

Without Jared there is no Paty.

“Shh. I’m sorry.” Shannon said also crying

“We need to go there! Constance might need us!” I said hysterically

“No, I’m going there. You need to finish this. Remember that he sent the tape, he wanted you to do this.” Shannon said

“No, don’t dare asking me that. I need to be there. I feel so…” I said holding to Shannon again crying like if there was no tomorrow.

“Shannon! This can’t happen. It just can’t.” I said still crying so desperately.

There had to be reason for Jared to not message for a whole day but I thought he might me tired. I should had done something, anything!
