chapter 28
I went and baked some oatmeal raisin cookies and wrapped them up in pink tin foil that my mom bought from one of those cooking stores. As soon as I knew it the guys were arriving one by one and girls were coming to. Michelle was there; of course Ryan needed to show off. And Jon’s friend Katie was there. I was immediately given the job of showing the girls to the practice area. Brendon was eyeing me. During break we would talk. I hoped.
“Michelle, honey stay here with Emma” Ryan said.
“I know sweetie lumps” She replied. I couldn’t help but laugh. Sweetie lumps? What was she thinking.
I didn’t feel like watching everyone go googly eyed over each other so I went upstairs. I texted Brendon.
Come up to my room when you can.
I wished that only it would be sooner. That only he could come now. I couldn’t wait.
