Dying Without Your Love

After arriving home from the Twilight movie set, I just went straight to the Jonas house. Not even bothering to call my mom. Kidding. I did call her and said that I was going to stay there for a while.

"Hey Joe, don't you remember your promise?" I asked.
"What promise, love?"
"To play webkinz with Frankie."
"Oh yea. I'm looking forward to it."
"Okay. So..."
"So what?"
"Now go and step FORWARD then rush to Frankie's room and go play with him."
"Fine, honey. But it's just because you told me too. Bye!"
"See ya"
"The things I do for love..." I heard him whisper as he exited the door.

I went downstairs and find Mrs. J in the kitchen making dinner.

"Uuummm......Is there anything I can do to help, Denise?"
"No, thank you, sweetheart." She smiled.
"Oh no! I insist."
"Well, if you insist. Could you please set up the table?"
"Yea. Sure."
I went and took the plates and spoons and stuff.

"So, you and Joseph?" She asked. My heart jumped up.
"Well... Yes..How did you know?"
"Gossip spreads really fast in this family." She laughed and I joined her.
"Really?"
"No. Actually, Frankie told me everything that happened in the car."
"Wow. Cute kid, huh?"
"Very cute. Like you and Joe as a couple."
"Thanks."

Dinner was quiet until Mr. J spoke up.

"Congratulations, Joe. Good choice for a girlfriend." Paul said.
"Uhh... Thanks dad." Joe replied.
This was going to be awkward.
"Jennifer. I was wondering if you'd like to stay here tonight?"
"Uhh... well, I don't know. I'll give a call to my mother after dinner."
"Okay, honey."
"Jennifer, now that you're with Joe, you've become a part of the family." Paul said.
"Thank you so much." I smiled.
"Jenni, dear. You've become a part of this family since like, forever!" Denise said.
"Oh mom! Now you sound like a teenager." Nick said.
"Why thank you, Nicholas."

We all laughed.....

"Hey mom. I was just wondering if I could spend the night in the Jonases?" I said through the speaker phone. Everyone(including Paul and Denise) were listening.
"Sure honey. I can't see why not."
Frankie and Nick HI-5ed.
"Okay. Thanks mom!"
"No problem. Take care okay." She said.
"Okay. Bye mom."
I was about to end the call until we all heard my dad called from the background.
"NO FUNNY BUSINESS, JENNIFER!!!" he shouted.
I closed the phone and we all laughed like there's no forever.
