The nurse lead me to my room. It was small and contained only a bed, a desk, and drawers. She smiled at me.
“Hey Alexandra, I’m Savannah. If you need any help with anything, you can come to me.” She said politely. I nodded and she disappeared through the door.
I lay down on the bed, taking out my small stereo and some CDs. I popped in a random one and turned it up a little. I smiled as ‘In The Still Of the Night' by Boys to Men came on. I don’t know what it was about these guys, but I loved their music. Although it made me feel really lonely thinking that about love, It made me feel as if I would never feel it. I sighed and sang along to the words. It was a song done in A’capela , and I liked how there voices mixed together.
As the song continued, I started to dread being here more and more. I have no idea why, but I had a feeling…
