Alessa Sparks works hard and is currently attending her sophomore year of college at Hunter College. She has a five year old son Tagan Andino who looks so much like his father it hurts Alessa at times to look at him. Her love gone and left to support herself and her son in their small apartment with she meets an old flame who had forgotten how much he used to be in love with her.
