Messed Up Youthful Innocence

Friction In Your Jeans

(Katie's point of view)

Boys just don’t understand. I dragged Wil up the stairs trying to explain this to him. He didn’t understand either, but then again, his Y chromosome probably prevents him from doing so.

“Sit down” I said pushing Wil onto my bed.

“Yes ma’am, are you going to punish me?” he asked raising his eyebrows excitedly.

“No I’m going to show you the pants I bought”

“Awe” Wil whined as I walked to my closet. The joy of having a walk in closet-built in changing room. I changed into my new jeans and walked out to show wil.

“What do you think?”

“I think they’d look better on me.”

“Wil, seriously.”

“They look really tight.”

“Yeah, kinda”

“Can you move in them?”

“Yep” I said grabbing my foot bringing it to my back, slightly arching it in a very balletish
pose.

“Bend lower”

I glared at Wil, standing on two feet again.

“WIL!”

“Fine I’ll be serious, turn around.”

I spun around to give Wil a full view.

“Well?”

“Honestly, they make your ass look stunning, “I threw the nearest pillow at him “no…
beautiful.”

“If the next word out of your mouth is ‘tappable’ I will have Drew make sure you don’t live to
see another day.”

Wil smiled at me as I turned around.

“Seriously,” he started with my back to him “if you wear those out every guy will be staring.”

“Uh, thanks?”

“Now, what type of underwear do you wear with those type of pants, cause I’d love if you’d
model those too” Wil said with a boyish grin on his face.

I glared at him and this time hit him in the head with a pillow.

“Well right I’m” I glanced towards the door to see it wide open with Drew standing in the
doorway. “What do you want Drew.”

“Nothing, just wanted to know what you were doing.”

“Showing Wil my pants, obviously.”

“That’s all, right?”

“Drew”

“Katie”

“What?”

He closed the door and walked away leaving me stunned.

“Stubborn fucking jackass.”

“Katie calm down” Wil said his expression softening.

“He’s always like this; I swear he’s worse than dad.”

“He’s just trying to protect you… I think. Sometimes him being overprotective can be a good
thing.”

“What? Him ready to rip a possible boyfriend’s throat out at the mention of me?”

“Yeah, I guess, some guys are just assholes who don’t deserve girlfriends. Maybe he just
doesn’t want you to get hurt.”

“If only he knew” I sighed sitting on the bed close to Wil.

“Katie.” he whispered quietly.
