A Smile for Your Scrapbooks
Alex Gaskarth needs a break from it all. After months and months on the road, he has had enough, and decides to get in a little time for himself. He rents a beach house down in Pensacola, Florida for the summer, expecting relaxation and a getaway from all of his troubles.
Too bad that all he does is walk into more.
Jordyn Matthews is one of those perma-vacationers. She lives for the beach, for the surf, for the sunshine. At the tender age of 19, she isn’t ready to continue school. So, instead, she uses her parent’s beach house all year round, doesn’t keep a job, and survives however she can off the occasional waitressing job and bi-yearly money transaction from her father.
When Alex moves in next door, weary and grumpy from the constant touring, Jordyn decides that she’s going to make this summer worth his while, if it’s the last thing she does.
