Madeline has never stayed anywhere for too long. She's been to 6 different schools by the time she was in 7th grade. Now she's 14, dating an extremely wonderful boyfriend, and she's being uprooted again--except it's not her usual move. It's getting married to a guy almost 5 years OLDER THAN HER! She's unsure of everything she does, and as she's forced upon him, she realizes that he's just as shy about this too. Did I mention that she's moving into a barn that was renovated into a house with him? With the nearest house --his parents-- at least a mile away? And that his parents are expecting them to fall in love at first sight? Can you say pressure much?
