Twenty-three years old.
I’m not the type of girl to just open up and let anyone in. I’ve been hurt too many times for that to happen again.
I was shipped around care homes and foster parents until my Grandma said she would become my main caregiver, this way I could still grow up with my birth Mom.
Hey, I never asked for her to do that, so not being ungrateful I waited until I was eighteen and got my ass outta there.
Now I’m a big girl, living with my “best” friend in our tenth apartment of the year and I’m already working two jobs to pay my half of the bills. No one ever said Beverly Hills was cheap!
