I've always wanted to parttake in NaNoWriMo, but I haven't because I prefer to write short stories. Well, here you are, folks. You know something even my best friend in the whole world doesn't--I am attempting NaNo this year. Shh. Don't tell anybody.

Katie spent her whole childhood trying to learn how to fly. When her mother gets into a terrible car accident and becomes helpless, Katie grew out of her innocence quickly and her dreams shattered. Firmly grounded now yet still just a child, Katie has lost all whimsy, and descends to madness.

Madness may be what saves her.
