If You Took Another Look, You'd Be Back So Soon

High school. What a rollercoaster. Getting up way too early and going to bed way too late. We hate some of the teachers and some of the people we're forced to act civilized to, but we all have one thing in common: counting down days to vacations, dances, and summer. There's different cliques, statuses, and roles that many people either do or dont pay attention to.

My friends and I dont really fit into any 'group'. We're quite content with being the oddballs. I dont consider myself popular, but I have a lot of friends who like me for who I am. Olivia and Caitlyn have boyfriends, but we still manage to find time to be girls. People wonder why I'm still single, but I dont care. Caitlyn and Olivia and I always laugh about how guys used to ask them if I was single, and how they would respond:

"If you can catch her."...I'm fast paced, I love to have fun and laugh, and I'm always looking for something exciting to do.

Every party, school trip, every time a large group of my friends are together, we always seem to have more fun than the last event. There's never a dull moment with all of us, and there's never a shortage of inside jokes.

So high school is a rollercoaster. I love thrill rides.

But what if fate leaps in, just when life is good for you? What rollercoaster will Skye have to ride to find where she really belongs?
