Cameron Pierce is an eighteen year old father that yearns for his happily ever after. His two year old daughter, Maya, is his life, and he'd do anything for her. He is hopelessly in love with his best friend, Jay, but Jay doesn't know.
Jay Gold is best friends with Cameron Pierce even though the entire school doesn't approve of their friendship. He's captain of the soccer team and is an all around nice guy. Girls and boys drool over him and covet his attention. He has secret feelings for Cameron, but nobody knows about them but him.
