She wouldn't let others take her happiness away just because their views of her love weren't the same. Thunder clapped again, bringing Anne back to reality. She was glad she was leaving like this. There was less to worry about when everyone was asleep. There were no sad goodbyes or fights for her right to love. She could just walk out and find her love in the park."
