The Ambiguous Secret

It seemed as if Violet Langley and her army were at the verge of losing all the time.

In the year 2020, the world became the worst nightmare for any free man. Trust was dilluted to over-protection. Rights and freedoms diminished as leaders in every country locked down their borders and started to tattoo everyone with numbers as if they were planning a Holocaust all over again. People could stay in their homes, but the cameras watched them always. Surveilence was a life to suffer with and if you did misbehave or cause a disturbance, there would not be a you the next morning.

Violet Langley was from a highly respected family from the Westside of New York. Her father worked at a biochemist for the government while her mother worked in the offices at the Department of Homeland Security at the Pentagon. Both of them wanted V to work in the government as they had and helped her to gain a job at the Pentagon. However, once the world started to turn grim for the future, they thought otherwise. Violet kept her job only to find out what exactly was going on in her country and what could possibly be happening around the world as well.

V never knew that what she would find would only tear her personal life apart and make her choose between what she has known all along or to proclaim and fight what she discovers.
