It's always the past that's hard to run away from - but the present always comes to save you, at a time you least expect. There are no such things as coincidences; only what is meant to be.

Hayley Ross is a simple, sixteen year old girl who has a past she can't run away from. Her best friend since they were nine, Aly Carter, ended up together with her first love, Rob Kingsley, during their freshmen year.

The following morning after attending Aly's seventeenth birthday, Hayley wakes up next to a guy she often bickered with, Raven Evans, a flirty guy who sweet-talks almost every girl at school but finds no attachment to them.

Both of them can't remember the night before and why they were together, so they come into conclusion that something had happened, making Hayley hate herself even more and Raven confused and unsure of what to do. From then on, the story begins and unfolds.

This is a story of teenage love and heartbreak, of picking yourself up after a strong downfall, of moving on and letting go, and of finding who you really are and who you really want to be without giving in to what everyone else is doing.
