Feeling of Escaflowne
I posted the first few chapters of this on a site called TinierMe a while ago. I decided that if I put up here, I might get more feedback. If you haven't seen the anime Vision of Escaflowne, you might want to watch it before reading much of this. (Discription holds a spoiler.)

Two years after Van Fanel sent Hitomi Kanzaki back to Earth, Lexi Lawrence, a new resident of Tokyo after moving from her original home in America, finds her wanting to kill herself. As a Clairsentient, Lexi sees this instantly, helps her realize that Van misses her desperately and gets her back to Gaea in time to ensure her happiness. Then a Gaean rogue named Aubrey turns up at the castle's front gate while Lexi sat in the parlor, wondering why she had been forced to tag along.
And then they saw each other...
