Trembling Hands

Lorraine Shana Burdett. That’s all you really need to know about me. My name. See, I’m not the easiest person to get along with. I know I’ve got my issues, but I've been trying my hardest to fix them.

I've built up my walls so thick that it's difficult to let anyone in. Even if they're exactly the thing that needs to be in my life. I try desperately to be honest and straightforward with people.

It only took leaving my best friend in the entire world and practically stabbing the guy I loved in the heart for me to realize what I had to do with my life. I'd lost my mother and been forced to move across the country.

Once again, there is only one person in my life that I'm sure of. I feel like I rely on him being there too often. He isn't always going to be around when I need someone to pick up the pieces.
