If the Suspense Doesn't Kill Us, Something Else Will

Reports of more mysterious noises throughout the suburbs have been made by local citizens of New Jersey, Jay Hudson reports.

Not a month from the last gruesome attacks, and it seems more are on the horizon. Experts say the attacks are in sync with the lunar cycle, warning that the creatures seem to be more willing to hunt without the presence of the moonlight. We have been advised to remain indoors and to check that the bars covering windows are secure until further security can be provided by the police force.

-------"They're too strong for us, and too fast for gunfire,"

a local police officer told The New Jersey Times last week.

-------"The best we can do is to inform people to stay safe inside their houses and to enforce the 6PM curfew."

Biologist Ben Herr of the New Jersey University of Medicine and Dentistry warns that the creatures lurking the neighbourhoods our children were playing on 2 hours prior are not that of the usual beasts.

-------"From the creature recovered last month it is evident that they are much different from the usual breed,"

he explains.

-------"These Draculoids, for lack of a better name, show behaviour that is different from that of the usual vampire behaviour of the creatures that have plagued the planet since the invasion. They show more intelligence and seem to have evolved further than the creatures we have previously encountered. I'd advise great caution against these beasts. They are not of this world - even if they hadn't have invaded here, it would still otherwise be obvious."

The police force warns that anyone caught out past the curfew will be arrested and held for their own safety.
