The Little Mer-Mafia

This is a piece that I wrote for my Extension English class. We had to pick a text that already exsisted and change it using one of five different readings. I chose Feminist Reading and picked The Little Mermaid as it was my favourite childhood film. This is my first "fanfiction" piece, although it isn't really continuing on with the story and putting myself in it, with love and romance and all the rest of it, it is totally flipping it on it's head. So, please enjoy and I'm sorry that this first chapter is not much better than a puddle of vomit. I promise they'll get better. ENJOY!
