Maybe the children of a lesser god, between heaven and hell.
Steve Rogers promised himself that he would never love another girl. Close to seventy years later and not knowing where she is, he is still convinced that Peggy Carter was the right partner for him. But then he meets the newest member of the Avengers Initiative; a gifted female named Jetta who happens to be a human-avian hybrid. The first of her kind, she was created in the image of the legendary Captain America and is an entirely new breed of super soldier. As the pair spend time together, Steve can’t quite understand why he finds himself so fascinated by the newest member of the Avengers team. But everything changes when the pair are assigned to go on a mission to the world’s most notorious nuclear facility, as the truths they uncover there could very well rip both Steve and Jetta, as well as the whole team, apart forever.
