He told her that money and status won't ever go to his head. He promised her that he's playing the game because he loves it.
He promised her that no matter what, she'll always be his only girl. He told her that he won't be able to live without her in his life and he begged her to move to Chicago with him.
When he was 19 he got drafted, third overall, to the Blackhawks and from there on he's been the superstar. Never faced a trade, he became rookie of the year and quicker than lighting he was named Captain.
Everything was going great.
Until he won his first Stanley Cup.
Booze replaced quite nights at home, women replaced her, money replaced loyalty and before she knew it he wasn't coming home anymore, he wasn't loyal anymore and everything else came before her.
Money, fast cars, clubs, women and alcohol replaced her but for some reason she's still there.
How long until she cracks?
