There Was You

After her boyfriend of four years suddenly ends their relationship, the last place Riley wants to find herself was at the engagement party of her two friends.

She had tried to tell them, but when they dropped the news of their engagement, she had opted to keep it to herself, not wanting to ruin the moment for them. However, there is only so much she can do to keep up appearances, and, whilst trying to hide compose herself, she finds herself unloading all the things she’s been waiting to say onto a stranger who just happens to walk out of the party.

Embarrassed, Riley attempts to run away, but Iker has other ideas, offering her the shoulder to cry on that she’d been looking for since her relationship had ended.

Will he be just the friend she needs, or will he be something more?
