I'm really excited to try this out! I totally wanna give this to my classmates and teachers as a present for Christmas Mr. Green I think it's really cheap and very creative so I'm confident I won't make a mess out of this.... I think. I don't know lmfao I'm usually horrible at DIY stuff.

I am so glad to hear that you had fun making it, and you are enjoying the results. Pff you can never go overboard with glitter, that's what I say. ^.^

I saw this when you first posted it and thought it sounded really cool. So needless to say when I went to Michael's this weekend I bought A big mason jar and two smaller bottles of aqua glitter glue. (I already had a jar of purple glitter at my house) I went a little overboard on the glitter :3 I added both things of glitter glue, about 4 tbs, and almost the whole jar glitter. I was surprised at how inexpensive it was to make. I only paid about 7/8 dollars for the materials. I love it though, and find myself shaking it quite often. :) Thank you for the tutorial, it was fun to make and I enjoy it. :)

OOOOHH! I'll have to check that one out. I would love to read any other arts and crafts projects but I particularly like this one becuase it's long lasting and looks like a piece of art. Not to crazy about soap but you know... anything to kill a few hours that would look pretty is perfect in my book :D

Well, I've already posted snow-globe soap. I could do snow globes in general, or would you like some more arts and crafts with jars specifically? I could even post an art project with ceiling tiles. :) Or would anything at all do?

Lovely article! I would totally love to make one! It looks so happy and calming! But I'm afraid of making a huge mess.
Glitter is the herpes of the arts and crafts world. Evil or Very Mad
But no less, I will definitely be trying this.

P.S. I've been becoming more and more interested in arts in crafts, lately. Any other cool, cute projects like this that you could post up? :)

Wow, this is so pretty! Not something I would necessarily do myself, but it definitely is a really great idea.

I have one of these. Made it about 13 years ago in pre-school except we called it a wishing jar. I would shake it up every night and wish for everybody to have good dreams, even my teddy bears! It can definitely be calming, but it's also a good thing for children. Just make sure it has a nice, tight seal on the top. I had to transfer mine over to a new jar a few hours after I made it because it started leaking.
