Zebra Nail Design
Materials:
- Clear base coat nail polish
- White nail polish
- Black nail polish
- Clear top coat nail polish
- Fine tipped make up brush (I use one that I got from Sally Beauty Supply for $2)
Procedure:
- Apply a thin layer of the base coat and let it dry. This will help your nail polish set better.
- Apply a layer of white. This is your base color so make sure it is thick. Let this layer dry.
- Dip your make up brush in the black nail polish and make three sideways ‘V’ shapes. The lines don’t need to be perfectly straight, so don’t fret if they are a little crooked. Wait for this to dry.
- Add more of the black lines alongside the ‘V’ that match the same pattern to fill in the rest of the nail. Wait for the lines to dry.
- Add the clear top coat so your design will last longer, and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes to make sure you won’t ruin any of the polish.
- Repeat for each of your fingers. If possible, find someone else to do your dominant hand, because this design is fairly hard to make with your non-dominant hand!
