DIY Peach Moisturizer
Peaches are a great natural moisturizer because they are one of the most hydrating fruits. While I may not enjoy the taste of peaches, I have to admit that they do have a yummy smell, and this moisturizer is a fabulous compromise to stocking up on store-bought peach-scented lotions that are too oily to use on the face or won’t give my skin enough hydration.
The lime in this moisturizer helps slough off dead skin and clear pores due to its acidic nature, and it’s also provides a bit of vitamin C. The olive oil used gives the skin a nice dewy glow while it moisturizes dry patches. Olive oil doesn’t clog pores, so you don’t have to worry about this causing a breakout.
Materials
- One peach
- Two tablespoons of olive oil
- The juice of one lime
Step One
Start off by peeling the peach, mashing it up in a bowl, and draining the juice. You won’t need the juice for this moisturizer, so feel free to dispose of it.
Step Two
Add lime juice and olive oil to the bowl and blend the concoction with a fork.
Step Three
Apply a thin layer all over your face and let the moisturizer set for fifteen minutes.
Step Four
After the wait, rinse face with cold water to close off pores.
