Magnetic Nailpolish

Like shatter nail polish, this is a really interesting and simple way to do your nails and get a really cool look. However, unlike shatter nail polish a little more work is involved. Magnetic nail polish comes in different colors, so I recommend buying a color that you like and making sure you enjoy it before expanding your collection!

A thing to note is when you buy your magnetic nail polish, on the top of the lid there's a little shiny black pannel with an edge. That is the magnet. It sounds silly to mention it now, but you want to know where it is when you decide to put it on. Another cool thing is depending on the magnet you buy it'll come out in a specific design, and they're all interchangeable.

Materials:

  1. Any color of Magnetic nail polish (this can be found at Wal-Mart or basically any store that sells nail polish)
  2. A clear top coat of nail polish.

Procedure:

  1. Take off any nail polish that might be originally on your nails. This may seem like a no-brainer but this is an extremely important step.
  2. Put one layer of the magnetic nail polish on and wait for it to dry.
  3. Put a second layer of magnetic nail polish on one nail then place the magnet in front of the nail but not touching it. Count to ten before taking the magnet away.
  4. Follow step 3 for the remaining nails.
  5. Wait for the nail polish to dry, depending on the magnet in the lid it'll come out with a funky design.
  6. Once nail polish is dry seal with a clear top coat.
