Under the Sun: Sun-Kissed Makeup

With this look, you can give yourself a nice, natural glow perfect for summer.

Face:

  1. As always, start of with a clean and moisturized face. Apply face primer and lip balm.
  2. Apply a tinted moisturizer or spot conceal. The less coverage, the better. Also conceal undereye circles.
  3. Lightly set the makeup with a loose translucent, powder.
  4. Take a shimmery highlighter and lightly apply to the tops of your cheeks, your forehead, and your chin. You can also highlight the nose bridge if you want.
  5. Take a bronzer-make sure it's not too dark for you, the point is a natural tan-and apply to the hollows of your cheeks, Buff it in and really blend it into your skin. You want to contour, not over-bronze.
  6. Then apply the bronzer to your temples, if you want. Apply some across your nose ande cheeks, place where the sun naturally hits your face. Don't apply a lot, just enough to get that sun-kissed look.
  7. Optionally, you can apply a peach blush.

Eyes:

  1. Make sure your eyes are clean of any makeup. Apply a primer all over the lids.
  2. Apply a sparkly cream shadow that matches your skin color. If you have tan or dark skin, you can apply a gold shadow, just make sure it blends in well with your skin.
  3. Line the tightline (upper waterline) with a dark brown pencil.
  4. Take the brown liner liner the outer third of your lower lashline with a thin line. Smudge the color into your lashline to blend.
  5. Taking a bright color a few shades lighter then your skincolor, highlight the inner corner of your you. Bring the color across the lower lashline until it meet the brown liner.

Apply a dark brown mascara. Black is fine, too. Add falsies if you want.

Lips:

  1. Make sure your lip balm has been absorbed.
  2. Apply a lip color somewhat darker than your lips.
  3. Apply a pink gloss over that. This gives your lips a "pink-nude" look.
  4. You can skip the lip color or just go with your favorite color if you want.
