Spicy White Barbecue Sauce

I originally found the idea for this recipe on myrecipies.com and on the website it had a recipe for Grilled Chicken with White Barbecue Sauce. Well, the recipe didn’t get a lot of good reviews because the sauce was “no good”. Because I love cooking, it was easy for me to figure out why it was “no good”. The sauce would have been way too acidic. So what I did was balanced out the sauce so it could be spicy, sweet, sour and savory (the quadruple S food devil).

I’m usually not the one to measure ingredients out before I prepare food (when I’m making ingredients up) so I’ll try to guess about how much of each ingredient will give the same taste. However, you may change according to your own taste.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup of white vinegar
  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper

Directions

Mix all ingredients and serve over any meat of your choice and enjoy. And to be honest, it kind of tastes like spicy coleslaw sauce.
