Rocky Road Fudge
Fudge is a homemade favorite for many, and rocky road is a classic fudge flavor. Although it looks like it may be hard to make, rocky road fudge has a fairly simple recipe that is easy to follow. Using these eight easy steps, you can have your rocky road fudge in no time!
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, cut into chunks
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 12 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- Medium sized pot
- Aluminum foil
- 9 by 9-inch baking pan
Directions
- Take the aluminum foil and wrap it around the 9-inch baking pan
- Combine the butter, sugar, salt and evaporated milk in a medium sized pot.
- Bring the mixture to a boil for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly, and then remove from heat.
- Stir in the chocolate until it had melted and is smooth.
- Mix in the marshmallows and almonds.
- Pour the mixture into the baking pan.
- Put the mixture in the refrigerator and let it sit until firm. This usually takes about 2 hours.
- Remove from foil and cut into squares.
