Rocky Road Fudge

Fudge is a homemade favorite for many, and rocky road is a classic fudge flavor. Although it looks like it may be hard to make, rocky road fudge has a fairly simple recipe that is easy to follow. Using these eight easy steps, you can have your rocky road fudge in no time!

Ingredients

  1. 1/3 cup unsalted butter, cut into chunks
  2. 1 cup evaporated milk
  3. 1 1/2 cups sugar
  4. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  5. 12 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
  6. 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  7. 1 cup mini marshmallows
  8. Medium sized pot
  9. Aluminum foil
  10. 9 by 9-inch baking pan

Directions

  1. Take the aluminum foil and wrap it around the 9-inch baking pan
  2. Combine the butter, sugar, salt and evaporated milk in a medium sized pot.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly, and then remove from heat.
  4. Stir in the chocolate until it had melted and is smooth.
  5. Mix in the marshmallows and almonds.
  6. Pour the mixture into the baking pan.
  7. Put the mixture in the refrigerator and let it sit until firm. This usually takes about 2 hours.
  8. Remove from foil and cut into squares.
