Better-than-Ever Chocolate Cake

Some people may have heard of a Better-than-Ever Chocolate cake, but for those of you who haven't: don't worry, it's really good. This is a delicious cake that is great to make for almost any occasion. Chocolate lovers will simply die for it.

What you will need:

  • A box of chocolate cake mix (of your choosing)
  • A (preferably) large bottle of caramel
  • A bag of crushed Heath bar (a candy bar made of chocolate and toffee) pieces
  • A container (or 2) of Cool Whip
  • A can of Condensed Milk

What you need to do:

  1. Make the chocolate cake according to the instructions on the box. Once the cake is firm and thoroughly cooked, take it out of the oven and sit is down on an even surface. Before it cools, take a knife or a spoon and begin making holes in the cake. You'll need a lot of holes, but please don't butcher the cake.
  2. Take your caramel (use most of the bottle, but save some for later) and pour it over the cake and let it soak in through the holes you made. If it doesn't soak in, make more holes. Take the condensed milk and do the same. Let the cake sit and cool.
  3. Once the cake is cool to the touch, spread your Cool Whip over it. (Depending on the size of your cake, you may need two containers.) After this is done, pour the crushed heath bar pieces over the top, spread them evenly. Take the caramel that you didn't use and squeeze it over the top.
  4. Refrigerate the whole thing for at least an hour, unless you are going somewhere immediately.
  5. Enjoy your beautiful (sticky) creation.

Please note, this cake is extremely rich. I would not recommend making one and trying to eat it by yourself. Take it to a party or a cook out. Eat it at home during a dinner party. It is great anywhere. Also, it is very sticky, so don't try eating it with your hands. Enjoy!
