Banana Fudge

Banana fudge is a delicious, unique fudge recipe. It isn’t a very common fudge flavor, and is constantly overlooked by fudge enthusiasts. Fortunately, banana fudge is very easy to make, so there is no reason fans of fudge shouldn’t give it a chance.

Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 cup of butter or margarine
  • 1 cup of light cream
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons if light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1 cup of mashed bananas
  • A cup of cold water

Materials:

  • Large saucepan
  • Baking pan

Directions:

  1. Mix sugar, salt, butter, born syrup, cream, and bananas in a large saucepan on medium heat.
  2. Stirring constantly, bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Take a spoon and place a drop of the mixture into the cold water. The drop should remain thick and stick to the bottom instead of dissolving out. If it does not stick, keep boiling until it does.
  4. Remove from heat and add the vanilla.
  5. Add the chopped walnuts, if desired, and stir until the mixture is coated evenly.
  6. Pour the mixture into the baking pan and let it sit until firm.
  7. Cut into squares and enjoy!
