Candy Corn Fudge

Halloween is just around the corner, which means it's time to start preparing snacks to get in the Halloween spirit! Pumpkin pie is overdone, and anything involving candy is so last year. If those treats are out of the question, where else can you turn to? How about a spin on a classic favorite?

Candy corn fudge is an easy to make treat that will have your friends howling at your creativity! This recipe is really easy, and is essentially just white chocolate fudge with some food coloring, but your friends won't know the difference!

Ingredients:

  • 4 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 1 can of evaporated milk
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 18 ounces of white chocolate chips
  • 7 ounces of marshmallow cream
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

Materials:

  • 8x8 inch pan
  • Aluminum foil
  • 3 bowls of any size
  • 1 large boiling pot

Directions:

  1. Line the pan with the aluminum foil.
  2. Combine the sugar, evaporated milk, and one stick of butter in a large pot and bring to a boil for ten minutes.
  3. After boiling, add the other stick of butter, the marshmallow cream, vanilla extract, and white chocolate chips to the mixture.
  4. Stir until everything is mixed together and has an even consistency.
  5. Separate the mixture into three separate bowls.
  6. Leave one bowl sit, add the yellow food coloring to one bowl, and the orange food coloring to the other, until you get the colors that you want.
  7. Place the white mixture into the pan and let it sit for a few minutes.
  8. Place the yellow mixture on top of the white mixture and let it sit.
  9. Place the orange mixture on top, and set the fudge into the fridge to cool.
  10. Enjoy!
