Banana Milk

Bananas are a great source of vitamin B6, they make you happy with tryptophan which is converted in to serotonin and they're a great source of potassium! Milk is chock full of calcium, strengthens your bones and teeth, and it's also high in vitamin D. So what happens when you mix the two? BOOM! Delicious banana milk. With this guide, you will be able to make the drink quickly and efficiently.

What you'll need:

  • Bananas (the amount varies)
  • Milk (the amount varies)
  • Vanilla Extract (the amount varies but I suggest 1 tbsp)
  • Nutmeg (optional)
  • Cinnamon (optional)
  • Honey (optional)
  • A blender

Steps:

  1. Peel and chop those bananas. Don't chop them too small, maybe make them each 2 inches wide, the size varies depending on your blender.
  2. Put those chopped bananas in the blender and pour in the milk. If you want thin liquid pour the milk until you can't see the bananas. If you want thicker liquid pour the milk but keep it below the bananas.
  3. Put the the tbsp (or more) of vanilla extract in, then if you're using nutmeg put that in too. Do not use more than a pinch of nutmeg.*
  4. Put the blender on blend, for about 15-20 seconds.
  5. If using cinnamon, sprinkle a bit on top and enjoy.

*Nutmeg contains myrysticin, a volatile oil than can cause hallucination, convulsions, anxiety, drowsiness and delirium. So please don't use more than a pinch.
