Watermelon Smoothie
What's one of the best fruit to eat during the summer? Watermelons, of course! Well, if you're like me you look forward to the summer so that you can buy a nice huge seedless watermelon. Just enjoying the juicey chunk of watermelon sitting in your mouth... Yeah, so a few months agoI found this recipe for a watermelon smoothie, and I thought now would be the best time to share it.
Ingredients (Serving Size - 6)
- 7 cups of chopped seedless watermelon
- 12 ice cubes
Optional (Without these the smoothie is actually healthier.)
- 1/2 cup of ginger ale
- 1 cup of frozen orange or lemon juice
- 10 blended strawberries
Directions
The directions are really simple. Pour the juice into the blender along with the watermelon, blend until the consistency suits you. I like mine to be a little bit chunky. After that mix in your ginger ale or whatever fizzy beverage you chose.
Now take your strawberries and cut them up a bit, this makes the blending process easier on the actual blender. Blend your strawberries up and pout on top, now you have one of the best summer drinks in your hand.
