Brownie in a Mug

Are you like me and you just cannot get enough brownies? Or are you a college kid who doesn't have a oven? Or are you the type of person who just prefers homeade brownies instead of the brownies at Walmart that only have like what five or so mini muffins in one pack? Then this is something you should really try out doing! It only takes two minutes, unless you have no clue where half of your ingredients are.

Tools and Ingredients Needed

  • 4 Tablespoons Flour
  • 4 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Cocoa powder (don't use cocoa mix)
  • 2 Tablepsoons Vegetable Oil (don't use one with a strong flavor)
  • 2 Tablespoons Water
  • Dash of salt
  • Microwave
  • Mug
  • Plate (optional)

Step 1

Add the sugar, flour, cocoa, and salt to the mug and mix. Then add the oil and water.

Step 2

Add the oil and water and mix the dry and wet ingredients together. Make sure to be thorough, there's a tendency for clumps of the dry ingredients to form when mixing.

Step 3

Microwave on high for roughly a minute. You might have to microwave it longer or shorter, depending on the type of microwave you own, but the brownie should still be wet in the center when done.

Step 4

Now, you're done, but I added this part for fun, it is optional but it's so good like this! Add some chocolate syrup. Usually I keep mine in the fridge, so I would recommend to maybe warm it up, and it is optional when warming it up as well. You can also add chocolate chips and powdered sugar, some people wait so the chocolate chips don't harden but I prefer it hardened. Also, the best the thing in the world, ice cream, is a great thing to add to the brownie! It doesn't matter when you add it. I would prefer hot because ice cream is already freezing. You should totally put a scoop of chocolate or vanilla bean ice cream on the top! Yummy.

I hope ya'll consider trying this out! I love it, it is just delicious. Make sure to go to the grocery store and get a carton of ice cream too!
