Mars Krispies

This is normally a swedish type of Christmas sweets, however I feel that any candy can be made and eaten at any time of the year! So here is the recipe to how you can turn a soft Mars bar into a crunchy, chocolate, caramel, rice krispie balls.

Ingredients

  • 4 Mars bars
  • 90g butter
  • 50g rice krispies

Directions

  1. Melt the Mars bars and butter together over low heat, until it turns into a smooth batter. You can melt them in a glass bowl that's over a saucepan filled with boiling water or just in the saucepan itself.
  2. Remove the saucepan from the plate once it's smooth and stir in the rice krispies. Divide the batter onto a baking sheet, in approximately 25 clicks.
  3. Then let it harden, you can do that by just letting them harden in room temperature or put them in the fridge or freezer, for the latter options it will go quicker and you'll be able to eat them a lot faster.

If you wish to make them look a little fancier, put them in a small squared baking tray that is a bit deeper and spread out the batter evenly. Once it's set and hardened, you can use a pizza knife and cut them into squares. Feel free to top the Mars krispies of with some chocolate.

This is a really fast and easy recipe to make something delicious, even more so. Hope you enjoy this!
