Peanut Butter Fudge
Peanut butter fudge is a delicious fudge recipe that is fairly easy to make, and great for parties! My boyfriend and I made this easy fudge while on vacation, and it turned out to be a delicious treat. The cooking process only takes about 10 minutes, and the chilling process takes about two hours, which isn't bad for such a great dessert.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 1/4 cups of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/3 cups of peanut butter
- 1/3 cups of chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 3 1/2 cups of confectioners' sugar
- Aluminum foil
- 9 by 9 inch baking pan
Directions:
- Take the aluminum foil and line the baking pan with it.
- Put the butter in a saucepan and cook on medium heat until melted.
- Stir in the brown sugar and milk and bring it to a boil for two minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips and vanilla extract.
- Pour in the confectioner’s sugar and stir until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the baking pan.
- Repeat steps 2 through 5, but replace the chocolate chips with peanut butter.
- Pour the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate mixture in the baking pan.
- Place the pan in the refrigerator.
- Chill until the fudge is firm (about 2 hours) and then cut it into squares.
