Peanut Butter Fudge

Peanut butter fudge is a delicious fudge recipe that is fairly easy to make, and great for parties! My boyfriend and I made this easy fudge while on vacation, and it turned out to be a delicious treat. The cooking process only takes about 10 minutes, and the chilling process takes about two hours, which isn't bad for such a great dessert.

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cup of butter
  2. 2 1/4 cups of brown sugar
  3. 1/2 cup of milk
  4. 1/3 cups of peanut butter
  5. 1/3 cups of chocolate chips
  6. 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  7. 3 1/2 cups of confectioners' sugar
  8. Aluminum foil
  9. 9 by 9 inch baking pan

Directions:

  1. Take the aluminum foil and line the baking pan with it.
  2. Put the butter in a saucepan and cook on medium heat until melted.
  3. Stir in the brown sugar and milk and bring it to a boil for two minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour in the confectioner’s sugar and stir until smooth.
  6. Pour the mixture into the baking pan.
  7. Repeat steps 2 through 5, but replace the chocolate chips with peanut butter.
  8. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate mixture in the baking pan.
  9. Place the pan in the refrigerator.
  10. Chill until the fudge is firm (about 2 hours) and then cut it into squares.
