How to Clean and Tenderize Your Meat
Have you ever wondered what was the best way to clean your meat without just water, or to tenderize it without beating it up? If so, here's how.
Things You'll Need
- Any meat you wish to eat. (chicken, steak, pork etc.)
- A decent size bowl to fit the meat
- Lemons (1-2)
- Vinegar
- Water
Steps
Time: 5-10 minutes.
- Make sure the meat is not frozen; defrost if you need to.
- In the bowl, pour vinegar over the meat and swish it around until well coated.
- Place enough water in the bowl to clean it out.
- Repeat this process with lemon; coat the meat in the lemon for a few minutes and then add water.
- After you washed out the lemon, wash the meat in the bowl with water four more times until the water runs clear.
- Once you have that done, you can season your meat and then cook how you wish. It will be clean and tender.
