No Bake Cookies
Cookies are a great treat. Not only is it a fun activity, it also makes your house smell wonderful. During the summer though, turning on the oven can be one of the worst things you can do. Luckily, with these cookies, there's no need to turn the oven on at all.
What you'll need:
- Measuring cups
- Medium sauce pan
- Wax paper
Ingredients you'll need:
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
- 1 stick Butter
- 1/2 cup milk Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 3 cups Oats
- 1/2 cup Peanut butter
Steps
- First combine the 2 cups of sugar, with 1/2 cup cocoa, 1 stick of butter, and 1/2 cup of milk in your sauce pan. Turn the heat on to medium and bring the mixture to a boil for one full minute.
- As soon as you've boiled it for a minute, remove it from the heat. Then you will want to stir in the 1/2 cup of peanut butter, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and 3 cups of oats.
- Once you have that all mixed together drop spoonfuls of the mixture on to wax paper and let cool. Cooling should take at least half an hour. Once that's done, enjoy!
