I used to love these as a kid but I developed an allergy to peanuts so I couldn't have them anymore. So, I found a solution. There are three options for peanut allergy substitutions. Soy butter (brand I use is Wow Butter): youay want to use a tad more than peanut butter but you get the same taste. Sunflower butter: the same for this as the soy. Almond butter which like I said you may have to add less or more depending on the consistency. The consistency of the other butters are a little different but it is a great alternative for people with the same allergy.June 19th, 2015 at 02:00am

I used to make drop cookies when I was a little girl with a close friend of mine. Her mom was a real big health nut so most the time she couldn't have anything sweet but on occasion when my friend was really, really good and her mom was in a great mood we'd make these.
She would use the 33% less sugar kind of melting chocolate chips (we'd melt them in the microwave because we weren't allowed to use the stove) and we would mix the uncooked oats with whole nuts and dried fruit. Funny! This is basically whatwe in Denmark call 'Havregrynskugler' - We just don't put peanutbutter in it. :D

This thing are my favorite, though I had a bit of a different variation of them. It was more or less a strawberry shortcake type thing that my aunt makes. Mibbians come up with all of the best recipes <3

I love almond butter, I'm willing to bet that they'd taste just as amazing using that instead of peanut butter.
