The Band Dude Contest! [Closed - awaiting entries.] Deadline: April 30th.
Judges: Venganza (Formerly DeadOrAlive) (moi ;3) and UberRandomness (link)
Brief: Pick a dude from a band (any band is fine) and write a story about them. Slash, sex, drugs, using songs etc. is fine. Then pick a number and we'll give you a prompt and a quote - you can use whichever you prefer or both. Only one person to each dude, so if someone picks Gerard Way you'd have to choose someone else. Now for the rules.
Rules:
1. One of your prompts must be included somewhere in it, whether a character says it or you just use the idea somewhere. We don't mind how you use it or how much. ;).
2. Minimum word count: 800. Anything over that is fine. Max is a two shot, but if you have an awesome idea and you need to go to say 3 or 4 chapters that would be ok if you ask one of us first.
3. You can pick whichever band person you want to use, so long as no one else has already taken it. Unless you're writing slash then you can use a character someone else has already chosen so long as they are not the main focus of your oneshot. (I.e You pick Frank and you want to do a Frerard but someone else has already chosen Gerard.)
4. Pick which number you want for the prompt. One person to each number.
5. Try your best with spelling and grammar. You won't be marked down if there are a few mistakes here and there - trust me, I'm fairly bad for it. So long as you've made an effort to make sure everything is proof read we won't mind.
6. Any rating is fine (so yes, you can have as much swearing, sex, drugs and alcohol as you want) as long as it is rated accordingly.
7. When you've posted your story make sure you link or mention this contest and make sure you tell one of us (Me or UberRandomness) that your entry is up.
8. We both prefer slash, but if you wish to do hetero (or femmeslash if you have an insane gender swap idea o.O) you can :). You won't be disadvantaged if you do.
9. Have fun! The most important rule guys ;).
All entries will get a comment from us on their entry. It's the least we can do for you taking time to write something.
First Prize:
Will be mentioned on both of our profiles and signatures for a month.
Comments on all of your stories as well as subs on any stories of your choice (unlimited).
Second prize:
Comments on 5 of your stories (you pick which) and subs to any ongoing stories you may have as well as a link in our signatures for two weeks.
Third prize:
Comments on 2 of your stories (again, your choice) and subs to ongoing stories. Mention on both of our profiles for a week.

Anything else:
- You'll be judged mainly on your writing. But if we're stuck between choosing you or another entry we will have to look at character pages, layouts etc. So it's entirely up to you if you want to make banners and layouts and other awesome stuffs.
- You can interpret the prompts as you like :). Hell, they don't even have to play a massive part in your story as long as they're in there somewhere.
- If you're not sure on something, just ask. This is our first contest and allll sooo. Be gentle with us? I think we've included everything...
