Joint Stories.

i might want to make ONE of the stories im about to put up a joint story. ive already got the description written and the basic idea, i just don't have enough time to do it by myself. its part of a series, but doesn't have anything that goes with the other three.

I'd loooove to co-write with someone. I've never done it before, but I think if I found someone who fits my needs, it'd be good. :]
I'm picky though. Meaning, you need to know how to spell and use good grammar and punctuation.

First off, I assume you want to know the basics.
Well, the basics are... FBR at Hogwarts. Dumb, stupid, and insain. But I know we have a few insain people on here.

I am looking 2-4 co-authors. I'm not willing to go higher than 6 total. I'm writing, so five co-authors are possible total. I would really, really, really like five or six of us total, just so we can have a thread. It makes things easier.

This is not a "pick your character and write about him/her". Kinda similar, kinda different. I want to focus this like a fictional story. Each chapter is not about another person. It's another chapter. It includes different people, different advancements in plot, etc.

Everyone will have 1-3 characters exclusive to them. At least one must be FBR, if we decide to use Hogwarts characters feel free, OCs are allowed. Mary Sues are not.

There will be no set posting order unless we decide we want one, although you can't post, like, 6 chapters in a row. We'll discuss specifics on everything later.

There are several options for characters: students, staff, maybe families if you want a route like that. This is AU, so if you want Gabe to teach Potions [which is a very bad idea], that's an example of what you can do.

_________________POINTS WE MUST DISCUSS

Using the staff in Harry Potter and possibly FBR in the staff.
Should the book be set in the time frame of Harry Potter?
Should we pretend Harry Potter never existed and we just go?
Should we use Hogwarts students from the books?
Which FBR [and possibly other] members will we use, who will they be, what grade, what house [if teacher what class and do they lead a house]?
Pairings? [Just minor discuss.]

_________________RULES!

+ You must have read at least the first 5 books. If you've seen all the movies, we can school you. If you've read 1-4 we can school you.

+ Currently, do not discuss books 6 or 7. A potential co-author has not read them yet. I mean, you can discuss them with family and other friends and shit. I just mean not on the thread [if we get one], not here, and not in meetings.

+ You must be able to update at least once a week. [If your Grandma dies or you get really sick or go on vacation, you can be excused, but let me know if you can.]

+ Must be willing to minimum roleplay if necessary.

+ Must have MSN. I will hold the meeting on MSN. Let me know if you don't have it, maybe we can work something out, like Mibba chat.

+ You must be able to get along with your co-authors. This means, don't fight with them. Arguing on threads about what band is better or anything like that is okay. But if you hate a co-author and can't get along at all, don't write.

+ Must know at least 5 FBR [this includes Decaydance] bands and their full line-up.

On co-authors: This is not first come, first serve. I will pick people who I think can write well in general and write well together. If I haven't read your stories, don't be afraid to respond. I will if you respond, check them out and be fair.

We need people who are willing to co-write a story with us. The most we are willing to allow help us is 5 considering there are only 8 characters. We'll discuss that more once we get co-writers though.

The story will be called, 'Oh Yes, There Will Be Blood' and it's a horror fanfic based on the Saw movies. The story will feature the entire My Chemical Romance band.

If you decide to help us, you must realize that it's a possibility the character you choose will die. Not everyone will live in this story.

It's a requirement that you plan on writing the entire time your character is alive. You need to be sure that you will be able to write before you ask us to be a co-writer.
