But as cool as I think it is, I'm scared people will be resentful of Harry Potter a lot more now that there's a gay character. Or maybe I'm wrong and people will grow more excepting with Dumbledore liking wands. Tee hee.
But this is just another reason for people to get all up in arms about Harry Potter preaching devil messages and shit. |

I'm totally for homosexual people, but I did not expect Dumbledore leaning that way at all. I am a Harry Potter fan, and always have been and it was a bit of a shock.
But hey, It doesn't bother me, if thats how the head master of the best school of wizardry wants to roll then so be it. |

I think it's a pretty cool little back story. It really makes Dumbledore an even more tragic character, that he had to destroy the person he was in love with.
Plus there was totally no LGBT representation in the Harry Potter books. |

Oooo me!!  I think it's cute, how he's shocked. And it makes me feel less bad for being so shocked as well. Honestly, I had the same reaction at first, when my mom told me, since she saw it on, like, Yahoo! News or something. I was just like... He's what now? But then it sunk in, and I was like, am I an idiot or what?
I like knowing all about this; Dumbledore/Grindelwald seems like a very interesting pairing, and you could do so much with it, it's amazing. Not that I would, unless I thought I could pull it off, but it'd still be cool to try. And, to be honest, I hadn't really given Dumbledore's love life a thought, period. Now that I think about it, though, I never really did see him as straight. At least, not completely. I agree with the people who're saying they view him more as 'asexual'. Maybe because I was too caught up in the sexuality of Draco and Harry.  |

If you haven't read all of the books in the series carefully you wouldn't get it. It actually is a big deal and would have changed a lot in Harry's life. |
