I guess you could say I believe in heaven. It's hard, of course, because no one can tell you what happens when you die because they're dead. I think that if you're good, you go to heaven. If you're bad, you go to hell. If you've done bad things in your life, and you're actually a good person, you go to purgatory.

But that's just was I think.

I just think it's like sleeping forever. Your brain dies so you have no thoughts or dreams, you're just... gone. Non-existant. Simple.

When I think about death, it's the worst pain you'll most likely ever feel, but it will end and you'll never have to feel it again.

Dunno, really Smile

I believe everybody goes to hell, that is, like Earth, only slightly worse. But that it's very peaceful, and in a lot of ways, better than Earth? If that makes sense... anyway once you get there there's no way in hell you'll wanna go back to living Very Happy

Or 'the big sleep'. Pretty much the same thing. All I believe is that it's peaceful and you're better off there.

I have such a weird view on death. I mean, it's just weird. It's the most unknown thing out there, so naturally it scares everyone. But think about time for a minute. Think about life, the whole thing of living. Is that an illusion as well? It's fluid almost, like being pulled along a current. If you look at religion from a detatched point of view, a belief of an afterlife is a survival instinct. A coping mechanism of sorts.

Now what happens after death? I really don't know. I'd like to believe in some kind of afterlife (with all the stuff about hauntings and things like that, it's kinda hard not to believe), but part of me is also afraid it'll just be the end of existance. If you think about it, life is memories. You could get Alzheimers and it would almost be like a death of it's own, because memories are your life. Even if there is reincarnation, that would be a death of it's own, since those memories are gone. I hope that made sense.

Not existing can't hurt.
Heaven/Hell or reincarnation most probably does.
=> I like the idea of not existing more than any other possibility.
Cute

Actually, me too. I don't want to spend the rest of my life worrying about getting into heaven. Not existing sounds rather peaceful.

I think when you die, if you've lived an appreciative life, you go to heaven. But I think that you go to your own form of heaven. If you've lived an unfufilled life, i think you cease to exist all-together

I don't really believe in heaven nor hell, I think when we die, we come back as something else, but aren't conscious of it. Be it an animal or another person or maybe a plant, we just keep going and going on and on, drifting into another form once we are done with the one we currently have.

But also, I am a believer in Karma, what goes around comes around. Eye for an eye.

If we do "bad" or "evil" things in one life we can be punished in the next, be it we are given a new life with not a single perk, or we maybe born into a body that isn't fully functional. We could be thrown back to the bottom of the chain and have to work our way up to being in a human form again.

But as I said I don't think we are conscious of our progression into the next, and I think that's why no one knows 100% what comes after we die.

I think if you are good you go to Heaven.
I think that Heaven is different for everyone.
I don't think you need to be a Christian to get there.
In my Heaven I'll be with Andie and my babies.
Part of the reason I'm suicidal. Anyway...
I think if you're bad you get reincarnated or your soul just ceases to exist.
However, if you believe that after death you are reincarnated anyway, I believe that's what happens.
I don't believe that one religion can cover it all...

That's the way I look at life, except..
A sort of heaven in my opinion, is, going back to a memory that made you so happy and staying there, or it replays and you never get sick of it.

I think you're just..... dead.
There's nothing after you die. Either that or you just pop back out as a baby.

I believe that when you're dead, that's it.
You're nothing anymore.
I believe that you don't go anywhere.

I personally think that death is just a way of life.
We'll all die in the end.
Some people die young, some people die when they're 110.
It's just a fact of life that we'll all face at some point.

At this point I am not quite sure. Really you can't answer the question of what happens to you after death. The only way you'll know is if you die.

Kay, so what you've just said is exactly what I think, except smarter XD
I think you come back as something else, according to what you've done in the past life.

This is a place to speculate about that, though Shifty

Hell is absurd.
When you make a mistake, you suffer the consequences on earth.
And then when you die, you die.
You don't go to hell, you're either burried or cremated and that's it.
You don't go and endure another punishment with the Devil.
But that's just my opinion.

Do you always pay for your mistakes on earth?
Because that would mean that life is fair. Is life fair?

I believe in souls.
And I think our souls either exist forever or not at all.
Also I don't think Hell is anything we could think of it to be. No fire and brimstone and screams. Our human minds can't understand, can't imagine Hell, it's just too big, too complicated, too absolute, just pure pain.

^^So are you basically saying that the concepts of Heaven and Hell are intangible to humans? And that having the ability to describe such places would destroy the horror/pleasure about such places? Just asking....
