Vegan/vegetarians

I don't get why people think vegetarians can eat chicken. Whats the difference between chicken, and any other type of meat? They're still animals.

Exactly. If you don't eat any meat except fish, you are a pescetarian. If you don't eat any meat except poultry pollotarian. If you don't eat red meat but eat both fish and poultry, you're a pesce-pollotarian. Notice how none of these are called vegetarians.

And no, I did not just make that up. I did my research.

Yes vegetarians tend to live longer but it also depends on your lifestyle. If you smoke and drink like hell I am sure this doesn't enlarge your life but nothing is granted.

My uncle died at the age of 50 or 51 and he never smoked, drunk or anything. He did sport everyday and tried to live healty but he got cancer.. so I don't believe in all these things anymore.

So they don't really live that much. They're not immortal anyway.

And those are forms of vegetarianism. "Vegetarian" is a widely used word, and does not have one particular definition, though it's basis is excluding a type of meat from your diet.

I'd also like to point out that although I personally rank fish, chicken, and cow, pig etc together, they aren't all meat. Fish is fish. Chicken and other birds are poultry.

I personally believe that it isn't that widely used and it does have one particular definition. But that's my opinion.

Well if you find one website or dictionary that has your definition of vegetarianism, then I will accept it as an alternative definition, but I have done hours of research on this in the past months, and I have not once come across the definition you are referring to.
